Auctions allow buyers to compete for items during live shows by placing bids in real time. The price increases as buyers place higher bids, and the person with the highest bid when the timer ends wins the item.
Before participating in an auction, make sure your payment method and shipping address are added to your account. If you win, your payment method will be charged automatically.
How Auctions Work
When a seller starts an auction during a live show, the item appears on screen with:
A starting price
A countdown timer
As buyers place bids, the price increases. When the countdown reaches zero, the highest bidder wins the item.
Auctions often move quickly, so be ready to bid when the item appears.
How to Place a Bid
To participate in an auction:
Join a live show where an auction is running.
When the seller starts the auction, you’ll see the current bid and timer.
Swipe the Bid button to place the next valid bid amount.
Your bid will appear instantly in the auction.
If another buyer places a higher bid, you can bid again before the timer ends.
Placing a Custom Bid
If you want to bid more than the next increment, you can enter your own amount.
To place a custom bid:
Tap Custom next to the bid button.
Enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay.
Confirm your bid.
What Happens After You Bid
After placing a bid:
If another buyer places a higher bid, you may be outbid and can bid again.
If your bid remains the highest when the timer ends, you win the auction.
Your default payment method is charged automatically for the item.
You can view the order details in your Purchases section.
