This Live Streaming Policy forms part of the Rwaj Platform – Terms of Service (“Terms
of Service”) and governs all live streaming activity conducted on the Rwaj Platform.
It sets out the obligations of Sellers when using live streaming for auctions or product
showcases and ensures compliance with platform rules and applicable regulations.
In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, this Policy shall prevail in
matters relating to live streaming.
Purpose
This Policy is designed to:
1) Ensure transparency and fairness in live sales.
2) Protect buyers from misleading practices.
3) Provide clear obligations for Sellers.
4) Uphold the standards of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) and
other applicable authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Binding Nature of Auctions and Sales
1) All purchases and bids made during live streams are legally binding.
2) Buyers: By placing a winning bid, the buyer is obligated to complete the purchase.
Failure to pay may result in account suspension, permanent bans, or restrictions on
purchasing privileges.
3) Sellers: By presenting a product during a live stream, the Seller is obligated to sell
the exact item displayed to the buyer at the agreed price. Substitution or refusal to
deliver is prohibited.
Live Streaming Requirements
Sellers must adhere to the following mandatory rules:
1) Only real-time broadcasting is permitted. Pre-recorded videos are strictly prohibited.
2) The actual item being sold must be shown. Stock images, generic photos, or sample
items are not allowed.
3) All product descriptions and claims must be accurate and not misleading.
4) Sellers must act respectfully and avoid offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful content.
Prohibited Sales Tactics
The following practices are strictly forbidden during live streams:
- Falsely claiming limited supply or urgency.
- Advertising one product but attempting to sell another.
- Displaying or promoting items not actually available for purchase.
Language Policy
- Live streams must be conducted in Arabic or English by default.
- Where conflicting information exists, Arabic shall prevail.
- Additional language options may be supported in future platform updates.
Regulatory Compliance (GCAM)
1) All Sellers are required to comply with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia.
2) Sellers must adhere to the content and commercial standards set by the General
Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM).
3) Failure to comply may result in immediate suspension or termination of live
streaming privileges, without prior notice.
4) Rwaj reserves the right to cooperate fully with GCAM and other relevant authorities.
5) Rwaj has the right to record, review, and remove livestreams.
Violations & Enforcement
Violation of this Policy may result in:
1) Removal of live streaming privileges.
2) Cancellation of active listings.
3) Withholding of Seller payments.
4) Account suspension or permanent termination.
Enforcement measures will be applied depending on the nature and frequency of the violation.

By using the live streaming feature, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and
agree to comply with this Rwaj Platform Live Streaming Policy.
