Before hosting your first live show, you can use Test Mode to test your setup and make sure everything is working properly before going live to buyers.
Test Mode allows you to check your camera, audio, lighting, internet connection, and live show setup without starting a public broadcast.
This guide explains how to use Test Mode before going live on Rwaj.
Why Use Test Mode?
Test Mode helps you prepare for a smoother live selling experience.
Using Test Mode allows you to:
- Test your camera and microphone
- Check your internet connection stability
- Adjust lighting and product visibility
- Review your live show setup before broadcasting
- Make sure your products are ready to be presented
Taking a few minutes to test your setup can help avoid technical issues during your live show.
How to Start Test Mode
To access Test Mode:
- Open the Rwaj app or go to Rwaj.co.
- Go to Live Show Management in the seller hub.
- Create a new live show and select the Test Mode checkbox.
- Tap Create Liveshow.
Your camera and microphone will be activated, but viewers will not be able to see or join your stream.
Check Your Camera and Audio
Before starting your live show:
- Make sure your camera is clear and properly positioned.
- Confirm your microphone is working correctly.
- Check that your voice can be heard clearly.
- Reduce background noise when possible.
Good audio and video quality help create a better shopping experience for buyers.
Review Your Product Setup
Use Preview Mode to make sure your products are ready to be shown on camera.
Check that:
- Products are clearly visible.
- Product details can be seen easily.
- The background is clean and organized.
- Lighting is bright enough to display colors and details accurately.
This helps buyers better understand the products you're presenting.
Test Your Internet Connection
A stable internet connection is important for live selling.
Before going live:
- Check that your connection is strong.
- Avoid switching networks during a show.
- Stay close to your Wi-Fi source if possible.
Connection issues during a live show may affect video quality or interrupt the broadcast.
Start Your Live Show
Once you've reviewed your setup and everything looks ready:
- Stop this live stream.
- Schedule a new one and do not select the Test mode.
- Start your live broadcast.
Your followers and interested buyers will be notified when your show goes live.
Tip Before Going Live
Tip: Have your products organized and within reach before starting your show. Preparing items in advance helps keep your live stream smooth and makes it easier to engage with buyers.
